The byteGANs
In their ever expanding quest for who knows what, the bitGANs have made another interesting move.
They have inscribed themselves directly on to the blockchain.
Why? We are not sure, but by recording their dance on the public ledger, they have insured that it will go on forever, exactly as it was intended.
While this action is mysterious, three major types of byteGANs have revealed themselves, with a small subset of rarer types.
The Three Intelligences
The three major types of byteGANs are skullGANs, cyberGANs, and octoGANs.
The skullGANs represent Evolutionary Intelligence. Their existence is a battle being fought within the human mind, where higher order brain functions are at constant odds with reptilian instincts. Does free will even exist, or is everything just a complex biochemical reaction.
The cyberGANs represent Artificial Intelligence. Intelligence created in a relative short period of time, full of promise, but also completely lacking wisdom. While AI may be able to solve all of the worlds problems, it also has the potential to destroy it in the process.
The octoGANs are closely related to podGANs and like the podGANs, they represent a new kind of thinking, Decentralized Intelligence. Similar to how an octopus coordinates nine different brains to solve complex tasks, these beings combine inputs from decentralized sources for the common good.
For now this is all we know about the mysterious byteGANs. No idea why they are appearing. But a quick analysis reveals that about a third of them are skullGANs, a third are cyberGANS, and the final third are octoGANs. But while these traits dominate, some particularly rare examples are also lodged in their including Inverted types and the fascinating g1itchGANs.
